Best Albums of March 2021 : Feu! Chatterton – Palais d’Argile. @ Antoine Henault

Yes, we agree to say this period is a never-seen-before-messy-where-is-this-taking-us life chapter for everyone. Although, music artists found fun alternatives to the traditional concert in 2020. Some performed in huge transparent bubbles, others tried out the drive in concert kind! They produced and live streamed absolute killer albums too, that you can find in this top 50 of the best albums of 2020.

In March 2021, some artists decided to assert who they really wanted to be by delivering albums that look like them. Their artistic essays were not shy, but direct and convincing. So what does it look like? Let’s dig into the music releases of march 2021 together. Here’s the March playlist to help you follow along.

Best Albums of March 2021

Lana Del Rey – Chemtrails over the Country Club

The enchanting Lana Del Rey came back with a glamorous 7th album mid March, for the biggest pleasure of fans. This 11 song dream pop album is everything we could’ve hoped from her : a delightful nostalgic love letter to her country, the United States. Not that she needed it, but this new album imposes her as a soaring pop diva who has traveled back in time since the Woodstock years to tell us all about the 70s’.

  • Genre : Dream pop, Indie rock, Alternative rock
  • Album mood : let’s take a road trip to route 66 in the US, sticking our hands out the window and feeling the wind on our skin, and drive until we travel back in time
  • Favourite tracks : Dance Till We Die, Let Me Love You Like a Woman, Chemtrails Over the Country Club

Feu! Chatterton – Palais d’Argile

Feu! Chatterton is a french band of slam and poetry. Even if you don’t speak a word of french, I promise you will be transported by the power and depth of Arthur Teboul‘s voice, the lead singer. Their music is as offbeat as their look: a three-piece suits, thin mustaches, a singular voice and an unreal music production. Definitely a band to see live at least once if you got the chance.

Their new album Palais d’Argile leave no one indifferent. Listening to their music has always been very therapeutic for the crowd. It feels like a deliverance, even when they cover pretty heavy and important topics, like the apocalypse that was about to happen. The funny thing is, they wrote the album right before the pandemic, as if they had a feeling the world as we knew it, with its digital model of overproduction and overconsumption, had come to the end. Premonitory poets, I tell you!

  • Genre : French Rock, Spoken Word
  • Album mood : close your eyes, feel every part of your body coming more alive at every word the band pronounces and every beat they play
  • Favourite Tracks : Aux Confins, Monde Nouveau, Compagnons, Avant qu’il n’y ait le Monde, Libre
  • Release date : 12/03/2021

Justin Bieber – Justice

If there’s one pop star we couldn’t pass by in this best new music of March 2021 piece, it’s the man that comes from very far. During his teen years, it’s safe to say the young singer achieved worldwide success and performed in some of the biggest stadiums in the world. But it also came with a non-existent private life, unbearable pressures for someone his age and continual media scandals.

After the release of the great Purpose album in 2015, Bieber took time to heal, both mentally and physically due to his Lyme disease. The man came back stronger than ever in 2020 with Changes, a R&B album on which he could finally reflect peacefully on everything that had happe)ned. He’s now unstoppable and released another album only a year after. The message of Justice is clear : he’s back in the world of pop!

  • Genre : Pop
  • Album mood : it feels like a contemporary dance where you fight between your demons and your present stability
  • Favourite Tracks : As I am ft. Khalid
  • Release date : 19/03/2021
Justin Bieber – Unstable (Visualizer) ft. The Kid LAROI

That’s it for the March best music releases! We didn’t find as many cool new tracks from emerging artists as in the new music of February 2021 or the new music of January 2021, but happily the ones that are already well etablished, such as Lana Del Rey or Bruno Mars, produced real quality content! We are also impatiently waiting for the upcoming new content of the exciting acts Wolf Alice and Saint Raymond, so stay tuned.
